In southern Chile, in the Andes Mountains, grows a wild shrub called by the locals "Rosa Mosqueta".

The scientific name is Rosa Aff. Rubiginosa. Its flowers are pink and when its petals fall, the plant develops an oval reddish fruit. Rosehip Oil is obtained from its seeds.

Rosehip Oil contains high levels of essential polyunsaturated fatty acids (efaS), linoleic and linolenic, 77% of which are partly responsible for the beneficial action of Rosehip Oil in the regeneration of the skin.

Uses and Properties

Rosehip Oil is used in the cosmetic and dermatological industry in the preparation of face and body creams, lotions, shampoo, soaps, etc. Due to its high absorption power, it is also used directly on the skin, obtaining the following benefits:
