Cross Tapes are made up of crossed mesh bands or strips.
The Cross Tapes, also known as Spiral Tape, Cross Patch or Cross Bandages, are made up of bands or crossed strips in mesh, inelastic that make up a patch with the shape of a grid of various sizes, free of medication within its composition and that can be used by themselves as an individual technique or as a complement to Neuromuscular Bandage tapes, maintaining similar characteristics to said Bandage, as they can be left glued for days, they are water resistant and hypoallergenic.
The classic and recommended way for the placement of the Cross Tape is to pass the patches containing the crossed strips slowly parallel to the skin of the area that interests us and observe as they pass if they vibrate or try to adhere to it; something similar to the reflection of attraction on human hair when brought close to an activated television screen. Where it does so with clear insistence is where we will leave it in place, but it is advisable to go through the same skin territory in which we find ourselves since there may be other latent active trigger points that may be interested in deactivating.
