Storage data

Storage and stability must be between + 2ºC to + 30ºC until the expiration date indicated on the box, respectively on the tube.

After removing a test strip, you must close the tube immediately to prevent exposure to dust, moisture, etc., from affecting the strips.

Clinical aspects

Triglycerides are one of the cardiovascular risk factors along with cholesterol and glucose.

Triglyceride determinations are used for the premature detection of a risk of atherosclerosis and for the classification of hyperlipoproteinemia as well as for the control of dietary and drug antilipidemic therapy.

Basis

The measurement principle is based on the reflection of light on the test strip containing a chromogenic substrate. The reagent strip has a magnetic strip that contains all the specific information on the method necessary for the execution and calibration of the device in a fully automated way.

Technique

The sample is deposited on the test strip, entering the reading chamber of the device.

After about three minutes the result is obtained, without the need for reagent preparation, or sample manipulation, or any calculation.
