Main features:

• The sample that is needed is capillary blood.
• It is easy to code thanks to a calibration strip.
• It contains a memory format that stores results with date and time.
• The strips must be stored at room temperature (2ºC-30ºC).

Steps to follow to obtain accurate and fast results:

1. Turn on the instrument and insert a test strip. A flashing arrow will prompt you to open the device to apply the blood sample.
2. Use the lancing device to obtain a capillary blood sample. Once the sample is obtained, apply it directly to the strip (you can also apply the blood sample to the test strip outside of the instrument and then reinsert it).

Total cholesterol, triglyceride, and blood glucose levels can be used to identify people at cardiovascular risk. Frequent monitoring of these parameters provides important information about the course of the disease.
