3B Intramuscular injection simulator

The trunk contains a simulated bony structure that represents the superior termination of the femur or greater trochanter, the anterosuperior and posterosuperior iliac spines, and the sacrum.

The bone structure presents anatomical landmarks for students to identify suitable injection sites.

A section of the upper outer quadrant of the left gluteal region has been cut away for students to see the internal structures. Gluteus medius and maximus muscles, sciatic nerve, and vascular structures are clearly shown.

It allows teaching three types of intramuscular injections: dorsogluteal, ventrogluteal and vastus lateralis.

Like all Life / form® replicas and simulators, the intramuscular injection simulator is extremely realistic. The texture of the skin and muscles, as well as the shape and position of the bones are faithfully reproduced in the body of a real patient. As a result, piercing the tissue with a needle reflects the feeling of giving an actual injection.
