3B Advanced Venipuncture and Injection Training Arm

The extensive 8-branch vascular system allows students to practice venipuncture in all appropriate first- and second-class sites, including administration of infusions and insertion of indwelling peripheral catheters.

The venous system is easy to use, as all veins are fed with artificial blood from a single external fluid bag.

The back of the hand is endowed with vs. Injectable metacarpals and digitalis. The practices can be done in v. basilica, v. cephalic, v. accessory cephalic and v. median forearm. Intramuscular injections can be performed in the m. deltoid. On the upper arm there are areas prepared for intracutaneous injection. Intramuscular injection in the m. deltoides is particularly realistic thanks to the soft, true-to-original skin as well as the true-to-original bone landmarks in this area. Intracutaneous injections with distilled water produce the characteristic skin hives in the anticipated areas on the upper arm.

The realistic design of the Advanced Venipuncture and Injection Training Arm is truly amazing. The soft, movable fingers were manufactured separately and with a special fidelity to detail - even the fingerprints! The hand joint can be flexed and thus allows students to practice some tricks. The veins move under the interchangeable skin when palpated and a perceptible resistance must be overcome when a vein is punctured. During the manufacturing process, the leather was reproduced with fidelity of detail, so the look and feel of the arm appear natural. Venous valves are visible below the skin surface and can be palpated.

The artificial veins and skin can be completely replaced, so that the training arm always looks perfect and works properly. Its normal use allows hundreds of injections to be made until it is necessary to replace the veins and / or the skin. Complete and easy-to-use replacement kits are available.
